CODY Astronomical Society

Becoming a Member

If you have an interest in Astronomy, Cosmology, Space – or just have an interest in the night sky – and want to meet like-minded people then please contact us. New members are welcome, whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced observer. You don’t need to own a telescope.

Membership is open to current employees (or retirees) on the Cody Technology park in Farnborough, site of QinetiQ. In addition the society has been given approval to offer membership to a limited number of the general public. (Unfortunately membership cannot be offered to non-UK citizens or children less than 16 years of age because of limitations on the issue of site passes.).

Those interested should contact the membership secretary Phil Alner at:-

Our subscription year runs from September, but new members may join at any time. A copy of the Society Constitution and Rules can be found here.
